2017 - A Year in Review - Part Two

The second half of 2017 included two road trips, more festivals,
and a 10-day Music Tour in Colorado. See more below:

In July, we traveled west for our second Colorado Music Tour.
We love the mountains and always  enjoy returning there.

We performed six shows in 10 days, with our main performance at the Wright Opera House in Ouray.

We enjoyed time with our grandparents in their RV, and even saw a moose at our campground!

In August we took another road trip to Nebraska,
and on the way, performed at the Brown Grand Theatre in Concordia, Kansas.

The Brown Grand Theatre is a beautiful venue.
If you ever have a chance to visit Concordia, you should make plans to tour this historic theatre.

That road trip ended with the celebration of the Eclipse when we opened for Nora Jane Struthers at the Lark Listening Room in Hastings.
We had a wonderful time and would love to return to Nebraska in 2018.

With September came the Kansas State Fair and a return to the Walnut Valley Festival.

While at the festival, we had cameo appearances on a few of the festival stages
for Andy May's Acoustic Kids and for the NewSong Showcase.

Also return performances to Stage 5 and Stage 11 on Saturday night.

Other Fall Festivals included: Burdick Labor Day Festival; Tecumseh Heritage Days,
Taste of Fall Celebration, Burlington, KS; and the Fall Festival at Pioneer Bluffs in Matfield Green.

In October, we did a radio interview at KKFI with Tasty Brew Host, Diana Linn Ennis
and performed for the first time at Westport Saloon in Kansas City.

In November, we returned to the Ozark Folk Festival in Eureka Springs
and ended the year with a closing performance at Homer's Coffee House.

All in all, we had another great year and have a lot of fun things planned for 2018.
We look forward to sharing new music with you in the months ahead! Stay tuned . . . .
